I watched it this morning with my son after my wife left for work and had to explain to him what had happened. I think he understood. Good cult proofing. I wish I coudl get my wife to watch ti but I bet she wouldn't. It is such a dreadfully sad state of affairs that the evil organization can so manipulate the membership that they do such hateful things to family who love them just because those family members exercised their consciences. Dreadful! But I love granny Mary-Lou - what a battler and in great form for a 93 year old - so sad she is losing her sight.

I need help when answering proof of WT being only religion
by DS211 inok so i have already been talked to about this and i always have difficulty finding a retort.
my friend/elder condtantly tells me to visit bethel to prove its gods org--efficient, obedient, loving place, yadda yadda.
and he also uses how many go out and preach the same message, how no matter where you go youll get the same loving treatment, follow the bible as best they can (ha), show lots of love, do t celebrate pagan holidays, etc etc.

I don't think this is new - the gtreat success of the WBTS is getting Witnesses to think of them as one and the same, so loyalty to Jehovah immediately equates to loyalty to the WBTS. You don't get to succesful fool people for 100 years without such a useful device. Authority directly from God trumps any other authority.

You also know how important loaded language is to Witnesses and how this is an example of high control manipulation and so you are playing with this.
